Within the framework of the educational project “Lessons of Sustainable Development” the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank organizes the III Republican Contest “Young Friends of the SDGs”.
The main objectives of the contest are to popularize the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development among children and youth, to support socially significant youth activities, and to form a pool of active youth leaders whose knowledge and activities will be of value for achieving the SDGs in the Republic of Belarus,
Students of profile classes of pedagogical orientation of general secondary education institutions who have experience of participation in the national educational project “Lessons of Sustainable Development” are invited to participate in the contest.
The contest involves the realization of a socially significant initiative (action, project, etc.) to promote the SDGs and will be held in two stages:
The final event and awarding of the winners will be held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the SDGs Youth Ambassadors.

The contest “Young Friends of the SDGs” is implemented by the Coordination Center “Education for Sustainable Development” of BSPU within the framework of the Joint Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs”, funded by the Government of the Russian Federation.
