SDG Youth Ambassadors took part in the International Youth SDG Forum

From March 27 to 29, 2024, the International Youth Forum on the Sustainable Development Goals was held at the NDC “Zubrenok”, organized within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs” with the financial support of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the forum were the Youth Ambassadors of the SDGs of the Republic of Belarus and their backups, representatives of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the youth team of the NDC “Zubrenok”.

During the forum, participants discussed the main tasks for implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, identified the most pressing problems in achieving the SDGs and proposed ways to solve them. The program included:

  • workshop “Effective practices for introducing public speaking skills in promoting the SDGs”;
  • training “Design of local initiatives based on the UPSHIFT methodology”;
  • team building training;
  • master class “Project activities, interaction with partners” from the SDG Youth Ambassadors in Belarus of the third convocation, etc.

The International Youth Forum on SDGs contributes to the development of international and regional cooperation, as well as to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
