On November 15, 2024, the Republican Forum of Teachers of Additional Education for Children and Youth “Mosaic of ESD” was held at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
112 representatives of institutions of additional education for children and youth, students, university professors, master’s students, postgraduate students, teachers and administration of general secondary education institutions, and representatives of institutions of additional education for adults took part in its work. About 60 teaching staff took part in the forum remotely.
The forum program included a plenary session entitled “Additional education for children and youth in the context of sustainable development ideas”, interactive marathon “SDGs and national values of the Belarusian people”, thematic discussion platforms for presenting socially significant projects implemented by forum participants: Impulses of Good, Learning to Live Ecologically, PROFcontent, Culture of Memory.
Based on the results of the Forum, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles, the electronic version of which will be posted on the website of the Coordination Center “Education for Sustainable Development” of BSPU, as well as in e-library and the Russian Science Citation Index.
The forum was organized by the Coordination Center “Education for Sustainable Development” of BSPU with the support of UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the Joint Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs”, funded by the Russian Federation.
The holding of the Republican Forum of Teachers of Additional Education for Children and Youth “Mosaic of ESD” contributes to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
