On November 27-28, 2025, Mogilev hosted the International Conference “Labor Productivity. Reserves and methods of efficiency improvement”.
The event became a platform for the exchange of experience, demonstration of best practices, search for new solutions and strengthening the positions of industrial enterprises and organizations on the path to sustainable development.
During the discussions, the participants discussed the formation of a culture of high productivity and improving the efficiency of enterprises, the growing interest of organizations in the problems of labor optimization, as well as lean manufacturing practices. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience and the development of specific solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of the regional economy. Experts from the regions of the Russian Federation shared their progressive experience in this field.
The conference program included a plenary meeting and two panel sessions — “Modern Technologies and Equipment” and “Industrial Psychology: Secrets of Increasing Labor Productivity”, as well as a seminar “Practice of Lean Manufacturing”, during which participants were presented with universal tools for improving efficiency, lean manufacturing methods using Lean games were demonstrated.
During the plenary meeting, the work of the Competence Center for Improving Labor Productivity was presented. It was established with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Belarus as part of the Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs” funded by the Russian Federation. The Competence Center for Improving Labor Productivity is called upon to become a modern educational and consulting platform for industrial enterprises both in the Mogilev region and throughout the country.
The event also became a platform for enterprises and organizations of the Mogilev region to demonstrate their project solutions and innovative practices at the Labor Productivity Improvement Contest among Enterprises and Organizations of the Mogilev Region.
The International Conference “Labor Productivity. Reserves and Methods of efficiency Improvement” was held with the support of the UNDP in Belarus as part of the Joint Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs” funded by the Government of the Russian Federation. The Conference become an important step towards the formation of a manufacturing community, strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises and the sustainable development of the regional economy, as well as the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 8, 12 and the other SDGs.
