Youth Forum “SDGs: Under 16 and Older” was held at BSPU

On March 21, 2025, Youth Forum “SDGs: Under 16 and Older” – the final event of the IV Republican Contest of Creative Works “Children about the SDGs” – was held at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank.

The forum participants were representatives of 286 educational institutions, including preschools, comprehensive schools, lyceums and gymnasiums, centers for additional education of children and youth, palaces of children’s creativity.

Within the framework of the forum, an awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the IV Republican Contest of Creative Works “Children about the SDGs”, the main goal of which is to promote the Sustainable Development Goals among children and youth, as well as to form an understanding of the ideas and values of sustainable development.  A total of 530 creative works were submitted to the contest in five categories:

  • Drawing (278);
  • Essay (100);
  • Photograph (46);
  • Video (43);
  • Poster (63).

The authors of 41 creative works became laureates of the contest. The works can be viewed on the contest website.  

The Youth Forum “SDGs: Under 16 and Older” and the Republican Contest of Creative Works “Children about the SDGs” were organized and held within the framework of the Joint Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs” funded by the Russian Federation.
